About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ritika Jaiswal Fashion (we, us, or our) handles personal information through ritikajaiswalfashion.com, including the online store, customer accounts, reviews, enquiries, appointments, and related customer services.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect your name, email address, and profile image when you sign in with Google.

When you place an order, we collect your phone number, delivery address, city, state, postal code, order items and value, selected payment method, and order or payment status.

If you submit a testimonial, review, enquiry, appointment request, product enquiry, or chatbot message, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, contact details, rating, review text, requested date, product interest, and message.

When analytics services are active, we may receive technical and usage information such as pages viewed, interactions, device or browser category, referral source, and approximate location derived from network information. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for your request.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate customers; create and maintain profiles; provide account and order-history features; validate carts, process orders, and manage fulfilment; verify manual payments; respond to enquiries and appointment requests; provide support; moderate approved reviews; maintain security and prevent misuse or fraudulent orders; understand website performance; improve our services; keep operational records; and meet applicable legal obligations.

Google Sign-In

Customer accounts use Google Sign-In through Supabase authentication. When you choose to sign in, we may receive limited identity information made available through that flow, such as your name, email address, and profile image. We use it to authenticate you and create or update your customer profile.

The customer sign-in flow does not request access to the contents of Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or other Google services. Google and Supabase also process information under their own privacy terms.

Orders and payments

We store order contents, totals, delivery and contact details, the selected payment method, and order and payment statuses so that we can review, fulfil, support, and maintain records of orders.

The website currently offers manual Bank Transfer for India and Wire Transfer for international orders. No payment is taken online through checkout, and the website does not collect or store raw payment-card numbers. Transfer instructions and verification are handled separately by the atelier. If an external payment provider is introduced later, it may process payment information under its own privacy policy.

Testimonials and reviews

Signed-in customers may submit a name or display name, rating, and review text. Reviews are held for moderation and are not public unless approved. An approved review may publicly display the submitted customer name, rating, review text, and any relevant purchased-design detail associated with the submission. We may reject or remove unsuitable submissions.

Cookies and browser storage

Supabase uses cookies to maintain authentication sessions and keep signed-in areas secure. The website uses local storage to preserve your shopping bag between visits and assign a browser identifier used by the chatbot. Session storage is used for the current chatbot session and interface preferences, such as whether its automatic prompt was dismissed.

When Google Analytics is configured, it may use cookies or similar technologies for measurement. You can remove stored data or control cookies through your browser, although disabling essential authentication storage may prevent account features from working.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics on the production website to understand site usage. Google Analytics 4 is also loaded when a measurement ID is configured. These services may process page views, interactions, device or browser type, referral source, and approximate location. We use these insights to assess performance and improve the website; availability of a configured analytics service may change over time.

How information is shared

We may share information only as needed with providers that help operate the website and deliver services, including Supabase for authentication, database, and storage services; Google for customer sign-in and, when configured, analytics; Vercel for hosting and website analytics; and delivery, professional, or payment providers where needed to fulfil an order or comply with law.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our customers, rights, or systems, or in connection with a business reorganisation. We do not sell personal information to data brokers.

Retention and your choices

We retain account, order, enquiry, appointment, review, and security records for as long as reasonably necessary for operations, support, legal or accounting obligations, disputes, and preventing abuse. Retention may differ by record type and applicable requirements.

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, subject to identity verification and records we must retain.

Send a request through our Contact page.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information, including authenticated access controls for customer and administrative areas. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The website and customer account services are not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us so we can review the request.

Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the website, our practices, or applicable requirements. The revised policy will be posted here with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably appropriate.
